What we do
Prema Enterprises specializes in bonding fabrics using heat, pressure and adhesives. Our capabilities include:
Fusible Interlining
Woven, knitted and non-woven interlinings with various weights and stiffness. Ideal for collars, cuffs, fronts and structured garments.
Sewn Interlining
Non-fusible interlinings for garments that require stitching-in interlining for special handling or higher heat sensitivity.
Adhesive Lamination
Hot-melt and solvent-based adhesives to laminate fabrics to films, foams or other fabrics — used in footwear, outerwear and industrial textiles.
Film & Membrane Lamination
PU, TPU, EVA film lamination for waterproofing, breathability and technical performance in functional textiles.
Typical Lamination & Fusing Process
- Substrate selection — choose fabrics and interlining type (woven, non-woven, knitted).
- Adhesive selection — hot-melt, PU reactive, or fusible powder/film depending on end-use.
- Heat & pressure application — continuous calender, hot roll or press fusing at controlled temperature.
- Cooling & finishing — ensure bond integrity, hand-feel and dimensional stability.
(Different processes such as flame lamination, transfer coating and hot-melt lamination are used depending on materials.)
